This amazing Mahogany Headboard is made with 100 plus year old roofing tiles that are set into an elegant Mahogany frame using blood sweat and tears...ok and a few curses. The roofing tiles have many layers of green paint that has rusted through in many places and they look like velvet. The silky wood provides a great contrast to the very old utilitarian tiles. I found these tiles in Shelbyville Tn from a lady that was tearing down an antique house. This is so unfortunate to lose a house like this but at least a little of it lives on in this headboard
