This headboard is king size and is made from nickle copper ceiling tiles from a bank that was torn down in Columbus Ohio. The colors that you see aon the metal are natural oxidation from age. We removed about 7 coats of paint by beating it off with a ball-peen hammer which left the wonderful green patina and the amazing purple blue green and gold metal shining through. We think this coloration is from the rust that is on the back of the tiles.
